Under the Hood shows legal withholding and opens to all eligible accounts

What changed

X expanded its Under the Hood report. As well as the labels applied to your account and posts in the prior month, it now shows visibility limits that came from complying with local law, including country-level withholding. It is available to accounts at least a year old with 10+ posts in the prior month. The repo notes are dated 18 Sep; press coverage cites an announcement on 19 Sep.

Why it matters for creators

Before you blame a reach drop on a “shadowban”, download the report. It’s first-party data, unlike third-party checkers.
